The delivery was half an hour late which, although it doesn't seem like a lot, made me late for work which was inconvenient. Having paid 11 pounds on the understanding that it would arrive during a particular time period, it was frustrating that this was not what happened.
When the driver arrived he was gloomy, mono-sylabic and not at all apologetic.
I do not feel that this service was worth the money and I will not be using it again.

I realise that the 90 minutes are not guaranteed but given how close I am to the store I was disappointed when a text came through shortly after ordering to say it would be nearer 2 1/2 hours - surely this could have been worked out when I was making the order? The delivery then turned up after 2 hours so all a bit confusing

Shutl - Hi Camilla - apologies for the delay to your delivery and thanks for being so understanding. What happened is the carrier that accepted your delivery then contacted us to say they could not deliver for another 2.5 hrs, at which point we informed you. We then found another carrier who could do it faster and allocated it to them, assuming you'd prefer to receive your items ASAP. Sorry for the poor communication, but we're making loads of changes at the minute so things should get a lot better! Have a great day.

Great service if you need item(s) same day & don't mind paying a lttle extra for delivery. Expected item to arrive in 90 mins & it arrived in 45 mins! Well done Argos/Shutl. Would definitely use this service again.

I was happy to pay the delivery costs for this as it saved me a lot of time and hassle, excellent service. It will be interesting to see how it performs at busy times like Christmas, hopefully just as well as I will definitely consider using then.

I would have liked to have been given the receipt as if anything happens to my product, I cannot return it to the store.

Delivery man was strange. Asked odd questions eg which car was mine and how much i paid for my delivery. He had dirty nails and clothing. Not a good representative for the company. Compared to ocado delivery men who are a tribute to their company.
Please do not identify me personally to the driver if he is given feedback.

3 hours - 180 minutes -after order for delivery not bad. Not so good when the promise was 90 minutes. However the courtesy of your reply when I emailed to complain and the helpfulness of the driver made up a little for my wait. Perhaps in future you could warn the customer - this one needed to go out after the 90 minutes and had to remake plans.

It's a great service for London where many don't have a car to pick up large items and don't want to be waiting in all day for deliveries during the week.
The only downside is the cost - it's understandably high for a more or less instantaneous delivery service, but I’d only ever use it on items I really needed quickly, otherwise it makes no financial sense.

Shutl - Hi Alison, thanks for your feedback. You should certainly have received a confirmation email from us! We'll have to look into that. Whilst the large majority of deliveries are within 90 mins, occasionally this is not possible (depending on the delivery postcode and the vehicle required). When this is the case, we do confirm the exact delivery promise to you prior to checking out. Unfortunately this was the case for your delivery, so the delivery did happen within the time we promised. Our sincerest apologies for the poor communication though - I hope this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Have a great weekend!

Only little hitch was I got a call to say the delivery would be more than 90 mins and to expect it between 1 and 2, and the package was actually delivered at 12:15 whilst I was in the park.
But someone called me to let me know so not a disaster.

The delivery did not arrive within the expected time which was a little bit disappointing. However, the driver was very nice, apologised and explained why this had happen without me having to question him.
Overall very good service.

Lovely polite kind driver.
Would like text not email when item has been picked up so would know on way as had run out to get baby's nappies and would have been able to time. / organise self better if had got a text.

The Shutl same day delivery was the same price as the Royal Mail's next day delivery (which would have been 3 days as the item was ordered on a Friday for an office address). The item arrived less than 2 hours after ordering, excellent service!

It was good that I was informed that the delivery would be beyond the 90mins initially that sold the service to me. However beyond that, I felt restricted and my plans had to be altered awaiting the delivery person.
The delivery person may have left without finding my house and calling me if incidentally my housemate didn't see him whilst coming home.
The idea is great but I would only use it in cases for deliverying bulky items that are not easy to carry on public transport.

Driver was late by an hour of the allotted time. If this happens money should be given back for transport. As it messed up my plans plus driver wasn't helpful or friendly.

The product was delivered to the wrong address. Delivered to billing address instead of delivery address.
It made the quick delivery useless.

Needs streamlining and maybe employ more staff. I opted for the 90 min delivery after reserving an item on argos website but it took the delivery guy approx 4 hours to deliver the product. Not within set time limit. I did receive a text message saying that it was going to be late but I didn't find it useful as if I was not at work and had to leave the house I wouldn't have waited. If you say delivery within 90 mins then it should be within that time limit. I wrote to Steven at Shutl and he gave me refund for the delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill but not satisfied with the service and might think again about using the service again.

Excellent service - (although Argos let you down) had to phone customer service & spoke to a real person, really helpful - delivery was as offered & on time.
Love the way you watch the delivery route live!
Delivery man even opened up parcel (TV for my mum) & plugged it in for her. wow. thank you.

Excellent service, but I just wondered if my full credit card payment went to you (shutl) or to argos who then pay you just for the delivery?? When I get my cc statement I will no doubt see! I do need an invoice.

The point of this service is timing, it's a great idea but the delivery was late and in this instance I would have been better off running down to the store. However, this the first time I've used the service, I will try it two more times before writing it off...
