Having served Argos in London since Aug ’10 we are delighted that from today Argos shoppers in Manchester and Milton Keynes can use our multi award-winning service.
To give Shutl a try, simply reserve your item(s) at a participating store, click through the Shutl offering (see pic) and choose whether you want to receive your order in as little as 90 minutes or select a 1-hour delivery window.
Happy shutling!
We’re pleased to announce that DrEd, the online medical practice, has launched a new service shutling emergency contraception to Londoners within 2 hours of patients completing an online consultation.
The total cost of the service is £19.99, around £5 cheaper than walking into a pharmacy and buying the pill over the counter!
There are two good clinical reasons for Shutling the “morning after” pill:
1. It is more effective the sooner it is taken, so shortening the delivery time can improve it’s chance of success.
2. Patients can be put off by having to answer face-to-face questions about why they need emergency contraception, reducing their propensity to see a doctor.
How does it work?
DrEd gathers all of the necessary information from the patient via an online questionnaire that is then reviewed by one of their doctors, who will prescribe the pill or not as appropriate. This prescription is then collected by a Shutl courier from a local Day Lewis Pharmacy and delivered discretely in plain packaging to the patient’s chosen address (home or office). The service is only available to women aged 18 and over.
We are excited that DrEd has chosen to develop a fantastic patient proposition using Shutl’s world-leading platform and we look forward to working with them to develop a significant business.

We may be putting our name behind a few conferences this year, however IRX is the big one. Why? Well, it blends marketing with technology, logistics with customer-facing design, mobile with in-store experience; in short it covers EVERYTHING.
Shutl’s founder, Tom Allason will address the Birmingham conference on Wednesday, 21st March (click here to see the full agenda). His presentation “Rocket science: using delivery to shape the future of retail” will look at the new role that delivery can now play, both as a means of attracting and converting online customers and in driving greater profitability for retailers. He’ll discuss how delivery is a battlefield with the capacity to shape the future of e-retail and unveil fresh research into the impact it’s having on consumer perception of major retail brands.
Tom will also be putting on 2 workshops on 21st March for Marketing/E-commerce/Multichannel executives exploring the true value of offering Shutl delivery. The group will look at implementation best practices, as well as how to optimise the service.
The event is free to attend, so register now and join us!
